Profiles and Bios
If you are a member of the 1962 graduating class, or would have been if you had stayed at Wheat Ridge High, we would really like you to create a profile and tell something about yourself. You can always update your profile with current information. Your address, phone number and email address are not visible to anyone other than yourself and the website administrator. You can contact other Classmates through the 'Send This Person a Message' link below their profile.
This page has a 'Where Are They Now' button which, when clicked, displays a map of the cities and states where registered classmates live. You might be living near someone and not know it!
Check out the 'Sort' and 'Search' functions. The more classmates that register, the more handy these features will become.
Your registration helps attract other classmates to the site. The effectiveness of the website is a direct correlation to the number of classmates who register. Registering also enables you to post to the Message Board.

My Mission: As a man among men, I help create a world of peace, through transparency, trust, honor fun and adventure. My professional career began with my first CPA firm set up in 1972 .. I have been in professional practice since. My focus is setting up successful business so they are attractive to buyers, at a high price. Our CPA firm is Accounting for Success, PC. My partners and I planned for and executed a merger with a larger CPA firm in November, 2011. Since then, I continue to work with the firm and specialize in Business Exit Planning, mentoring the business owner to prepare for the most finanicall significant event of her life. My personal life has been blessed by my two sons, Dean and Steven, who have both become CPAs and have successful businesses of their own. Each of my sons is blessed with a wonderful wife, and three children .. who all are living nearby. Libby, my wife, is also a partner in our CPA firm. We just celebrated our 25th anniversary. She is also head of the Vestry, in our church in Castle rock. I love my wife, my family, and my chosen profession. Adventure in my life includes photographing wild animals in the tundra in old mining and railroad lines in Colorado and Wyoming (ATVs); Motorcycle touring .. just traded our Harley Ultra Classic (75k miles) for a new Harley Ulta Classic Trike (kinda reminds me of my first trike at 3 years old). Scuba in Mexico and many Carribean islands, and sailing....and skiing & snowboarding in as many areas as I can (21 times last year) Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at the Reunion. God Bless each of You! |

I worked for 35 years in public education; secondary through university levels. Finished the last five years of my career as the administrator/lead teacher of a night high school for alternative learners where I discovered I could attain and sustain the same state of hyperactivity as the students by consuming enormous quantities of coffee and dark chocolate. (Both are still my preferred drugs of choice.) Studied with professional portrait photographers Ed DeCroce, Dean Collins and Peter Nicastro in the '70's. I still enjoy the challenge of creating unique portraiture for individuals and have a residential studio. Family, fly fishing, golf, learning to play the banjo, volunteer work, spoiling our only grandchild, travel and occasionally exploring the old Federal Highways in our refurbished '74 Airstream fill up the days. Married to Margie (Margie Smee WRHS' 63) since 1965. |

Comment: I graduated from CSU with a degree in microbiology. The next four years were spent in Alaska, after which we moved back to Wheat Ridge. I was a stay at home mom for 19 years before I went back to work for the FDA. After retiring we moved to Northeastern Colorado to a small acreage where we have a large garden, an orchard and raise chickens. |
