Profiles and Bios

If you are a member of the 1962 graduating class, or would have been if you had stayed at Wheat Ridge High, we would really like you to create a profile and tell something about yourself. You can always update your profile with current information. Your address, phone number and email address are not visible to anyone other than yourself and the website administrator. You can contact other Classmates through the 'Send This Person a Message' link below their profile.

This page has a 'Where Are They Now' button which, when clicked, displays a map of the cities and states where registered classmates live. You might be living near someone and not know it!

Check out the 'Sort' and 'Search' functions. The more classmates that register, the more handy these features will become.

Your registration helps attract other classmates to the site. The effectiveness of the website is a direct correlation to the number of classmates who register. Registering also enables you to post to the Message Board.

About a year after high school my wife (Bonnie Martin from North High) and I were married.  We have 3 children (two girls and a boy) and 6 grandchildren. We have been married for over 47 years. After working for a local sheet metal company in Golden for a few years I started my own company and enjoyed it for about 9 years. The Oil Embargo in the early 70's caused me to make a carrer change.  My wife and I felt called to serve our Lord Jesus Christ.  We picked up our children and moved to Grand Rapids Mi.  At Grace Bible College I gradurated with a THB and Bonnie got her AA degree. After graduation we we moved to Seattle Wa. and served as Ministers to Youth and Families at the Berean Bible Church. We ministered there for almost 6 years and then started a church in Woodinville, Wa. I was senior pastor at Fellowship Bible Church for 12 years and then moved to Sequim Wa. where we have spent the last 11 years caring for our disabled son.  We have been blessed to have traveled to Africa (visiting our daughter's family doing mission work ) five times.  We enjoy the Pacific North West and all the beauty of God's creation. My wife and I have built a new home on the 18th Tee of the Sunland Golf Course and turned our other home into a vacation rental, which all told has kept us very busy.

Comment: In 1960 I moved from Maryland to Colorado so I only attended Wheat Ridge during my junior and senior years.  After graduation I attended CU Denver and CSU.  I worked for the Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation at the Denver Federal Center for 40 years before retiring as Reclamation's Printing and Publications Management Officer.  I have 2 sons and 5 grandsons all living in the area.  In 2007 I partnered with my younger son and two others to build and operate the Pipeline Car Wash in Wheat Ridge.  I am enjoying my semi-retirement.  I spend lots of time with my grandkids and love to travel and spend time with friends

I was a fraud investigator for Medicare for 23 years, Then a Business Analyst for Medicaid for the State of CO for the next 14 years. As I was about to retire, I was asked to join a Medicare Program Integrity Contractor and work in preventing Medicare fraud once again. I couldn't refuse!
