Fifty years…hardly seems possible! After high school I attended CU in Boulder intending to get a degree in Fine Arts. After my first year there my father became terminally ill and my pursuit of a degree was put on hold. That year I married my high school sweetheart and fellow WRHS graduate, Dewey Krohn, class of ’60. We have three children and eight grandchildren that all live in the Denver area. They keep us young and busy! We have lived in the Denver area all our married life and recently moved to Brighton just a couple of blocks from our son and his family. I was fortunate to be able to stay at home raising our family and pursuing varied interests and activities. I am still an avid skier, skiing over 20 days a season. In the summers I enjoy golfing and working in the yard. Even though I never got my degree in Fine Arts, I was able to continue my art education and have been a watercolor teacher locally and in Mexico for over 20 years. I am a member of the Main Street Gallery and also teach there. Dewey and I have been fortunate to be able to enjoy our family, travels and various activities over the years and will be celebrating our 50th anniversary next year. We are looking forward to reconnecting with our high school friends at the reunion! |

Comment: Still working as a librarian, with three part-time positions with the 12-state Mountain Plains Library Association and also doing a small crafts business - "Surely We Jest." Two grandsons are the most fun - and they've just moved with their parents to the Wheat Ridge family home (that was regularly T-P'd when I was in higih school). Our 14-year old grandson is now a freshman Wheat Ridge Farmer and the 12-year old will soon be! |

Since Wheat Ridge High, I've been married twice, lived in New Orleans, Louisiana, Houston, Texas, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I retired from recruiting for pharmaceutical / biotherapies companies. I am still a Docent at Winterthur Museum in Delaware which is a 175 room mansion which has the largest collection of pre-civil war American made furniture. Keeps me sharp learning new tours and interacting with visitors to the museum. I also work part time at an Olive Oil/Balsamic Vinegar shop here in West Chester, PA where I own a 150 year-old row house. Still enjoy book club, international travel, traipsing around Philadelphia, NYC, DC and the beaches of New Jersey. I am fortunate to have many great friends. And my family is doing wonderfully well. My grandchildren are now 16, 14, 9 and 7 with my oldest granddaughters being terrific athletes (field hockey) and straight A students. My two daughters (Rhory and Rhiain) have great careers, husbands, and gorgeous places to live. So all is well with me and mine. |

In the spring, I drive to the Paribas Tennis Tournament and on to Spring training and visit with my brother Dick and wife Sandy in Tucson. |
