Charles Emery Nielsen, 72, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at Peabody Health and Rehab in Peabody, KS. Born November 11, 1943, at Wichita, KS, the son of Emery Howard and Ella Wallingford (Baker) Nielsen, he was a rancher. Charles was a long time resident of Comanche County, KS, living in the Wilmore, KS area for many years. He received a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, OK. He attended the First Christian Church in Coldwater, KS.

He is survived by numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous aunts and uncles.
