Robin W. Yetter, born Oct. 23, 1943, died May 21, 2008 in Denver, Colorado at the age of 64 as a result of a sudden aneurysm.

Robin and I went from first grade through HS together. Though we were never best of friends. we were always friends. In junior high my neighbor (Don "Punk" Craw) and I climbed a big cottonwood tree at the baseball field at 32nd and Estes and stole a couple of sparrow hawk fledgelings out of a hole in the trunk while the parents dive bombed us, so we could become falconers. Robin's dad knew the falcon trainer at the Air Force Academy and got us information on how to train them. We caged them together, and unfortunately after several months Punk's bird killed mine. The best laid plans... I also got my first lid of weed from Robin, though this was after high school. Thanks, Robin.

Robin was one of my best friends in school.  We had a great relationship that was born because of gymnastics but blossomed into a true friendship.  One of the best people I have known in my life.
