A nice kind of social networking you have done with the site, better than much of of what one sees out there. Many thanks for providing a piece of continuity to our lives Scott.

Thank you for all you have done to create these memories. It was enjoyable to see all the old pictures and try to remember the names of the individuals. Wishing all a wonderful life.

What a surprise to receive a telephone call from Larry Smith & email from Scott Hightower to let me know of "The 50-Year Reunion Week of the Wheat Ridge High School Class of 1962. WOW, hard to believe that it has been 50 years.Yes, Claudia and I have many great memories of the years we taught at WRHS. And, we have enjoyed reading the postings from many of our students on the "Scott Hightower WRHS reunion website".After living in Boulder, CO for 43 years, we moved to Easton, MD in 2004 to be near our daughter and family who live in Annapolis, MD. We have driven through Colorado several times since moving to MD to visit our other daughter and family who live in Kent, WA. However, inasmuch as this is a 6,000 plus mile round trip, we do not have plans to make this trip this year. We would love to be there to join in the festivities. We wish all of the students of WRHS a wonderful reunion, and we hope that you all will also remember the great times at WRHS.butchtodd@goeaston.net

Was new to this class in 62\', I was 18 and had a black 1957 ford soft top, from California. Met a lot of classmates that I don\'t remember.

comment by Loma Bello Rhynard

Thanks for doing this for the class...you have done a great job on the website.

comment by Jeff Sayers

Although I did not go to Wheat Ridge I found this to be a very nice website.  Allowed me to catch up on  someone I knew many, many years ago.

comment by Dennis Neiwert

I enjoyed hearing from you Scott.  The website looks great and am looking forward to the 50th reunion.

comment by Larry Schreiber

Thanks for taking on a huge but worthy project. I\'ll help in any way I can. I like Barb\'s ideas!

comment by Arnett Williams

Great job on putting  this  together.  I was just looking at the friends that have passed away.  I was shocked, and saddened.  I still see us from the 50th reunion or high school days.  I hope some of us can get together even if it's not a reunion. Tempis fugit.  My wife and I live in Branson, Mo.  But, I'd gladly drive back to see and visit any who would like to. Best to all of you and God bless. Butch (Arnett) Williams

comment by Athena Marks

I look forward to meeting everyone at the reunion. Both Jay and I can\'t wait!

comment by Pam (Buzard) Conley

Dear Scott (and Barb),I am so excited about our 50th, and can\'t wait to renew our friendships and "old?" memories.  67 is the perfect age...the end of puberty and the beginning of middle age!  (I think I read that in AARP magazine.)Thanks so much for being the liasons for our class.  It\'s a tremendous responsibility, but I want you to know you are very much appreciated by those of us who live far away and want to reconnect. I\'ll try to help qll I can.  Just let me know what\'s needed.Pam

Great work, Scott!  Just the other day I was thinking that you probably have been at this about a year, and the dates here in the guest book confirm that.  Thanks!

Scott, this is a great website.  It was so nice talking with you and checking this out.  I haven\'t seen anyone from WRHS since I was at CSU, so it will be great to catch up.  I\'m amazed at the amount of time you have devoted to this.  KUDOS!

comment by Joyce Peterson Vinnola Cloer

Thanks for your great effort.  I moved away in the 60s.  My late husband Joe Vinnola has been gone for 25 years.  That\'s why so many names.  I have enjoyed remembering all the fun we had.  Thanks for sharing.

comment by Carla Barlow(Potter)

I am now living in Texas.  I hope to see everyone next year.

comment by Colleen ( tina) Caubin

Great work Scott, its a website that works, you asked for my artist opinion, its fine, but that yellow green stripe sets my trained landscape painter\'s eye on edge ;-) lots of names here arising with cobwebs from the basement of my life.....I forgot about high school as fast as I could, not a happy time of my life, but school was a relief from home so I do remember the many kind acts of many of you. Still a bit shook up that my past has found me.

Please use my brother-in-law\'s email address for the time being.

How about a regulation co-ed soccer game at the reunion and the team with more that three players standing after two minutes is the winner?

comment by Harold Precht

Hi AllSpecial thanks to Scott for putting this together! So wow - I\'ve missesd all the previous reunions. How rude is that? Partly because I live in San Diego & partly because I\'m still doing the old 8 to 5 thing - really need to figure out how to retire!Anyway if the good Lord is willing & the creeks don\'t rise I plan on not missing any more reunions.I have a lot of names runnning around in my head & see if I can add names to the unknown in the photos later.ThanksHarold

comment by June Ferguson

My photo was not in the yearbook as I was not there in 1961.  Has anyone seen Cheryl Nolan (Peterson) (Bartels)?  She was one of my best friends.  Look me up on facebook.

comment by Sarah (Elaine Parke) Chandler

Hi Scott,Thanks for ringing with the heads up about the reunion.  And thanks for taking on the task of tracking us all down and organizing this as well.  If there\'s something I can contribute from afar, do let me know.Sarah

comment by Nancy Flanders Wear

Hi Scott,What a great way for all of us to get in touch.  It does not seem like it has been almost 50 years since we left the halls of Wheat Ridge High to go into a world that has had so many changes.  Technology being one of the main ones that we are using here to get in touch with each other.  Great work on this web site and I look forward to keeping up with what is going on now that I a fully retired.

To Scott & Barb:  Have we REALLY gotten this old???  The spirit is still young!  Thanks, so much, for finding me - am looking forward to renewing old acquaintances.   The website is wonderful - though I\'m sad to know that so many have passed on ...See you at the reunion - maybe sooner as we\'re in Broomfield, too.I\'m here to help - just give a call -Profile soon!

Our fiftieth in 2012 and just before the end of the world, how fitting.   I vote for the old (original) Farmer icon, but at least I did not have to look at that new one that appears to be a copy of  the Nebraska mascot.  Thanks, Scott & Barbara and the rest of your helpers for getting us all together again.  Before the end.......

Scott, Pat & I plan on attending. The only variable in my mother she is here in Florida now but it our responsibility. She is 95 years young and can be a handful. I think your efforts along with the planning committee are superb. It’s hard to think that most classmates I have not seen but once, our 20th reunion, since I left Colorado. It seems that I’m on twenty-two year plan. Twenty-two years each in Colorado, California, and in Florida. I don’t know if that means I’m at the end of the road or can plan on making it to 88.
